Maiyango, High Street.
A nice bar/restaurant.
As this Fruli trail includes bottles as well as
a few pints to finish off, you should have some
room for food. This is a good place to start for
this very reason. Don't fill-ya-boots to much |
|
though as there is still
a long way to go!
Only in bottles at this venue, but worry not it
still tastes great and it's probably for the best
if your eating anyway.
Maiyango... funny name, but it makes me wonder...
mango fruli hummmm? |

OBar, High Street. This is
a little corker. Got to admit, I'm really not one
for town pubs, as they are normally full of townies
(unsurprisingly) however this is the exception to
the rule. |
A good mix of people and a nice relaxed
atmosphere make this the ideal next stop.
Again they only have Fruli in bottles, but again
the pub itself makes up for it.
Like Nine bar on the 1st Leicester fruli trail,
you can kick back outside and enjoy your fruli in
the sunshine... OBar... oh yes! |

Lloydes - The Corn
Exchange, Market Place. Right in the middle
of town and being a Lloydes, this is easily accessible,
plays music and is always bustling, therefore has a good
atmosphere.
The thing is with a Lloydes, you know where you stand
the drinks are well priced and the service is always good.
If your with a group of friends that are looking for a bit
of fun along the way, this is not a bad choice.
It's in bottles again though, so see what you think, have
one, have two... it's up to you! |

Antibos, London Road. You've
been drinking bottles long enough and your fancying
a pint... I know how you feel. Antibos is like maiyango,
a bar/restaurant (an Italian).
If the Fruli isn't starting to weigh you down and
you haven't already done so it is a good place to
eat.
This place could also be recommended if you are
not on a |
 |
Fruli trail at all, but you do want
to take your other half out for a good meal and
happily notice that they do Fruli on draught while
your there.
Have a Fruli, try a bit of pasta and move on...
Strawberry beer and pasta? Wonder if food critics
would agree? |

The Loaded
Dog, London Road. What a place to finish your
trail. A cracking pub with Fruli on draught and
a lively atmosphere. If you've eaten on this journey
and you thought that would dull proceedings, think
again, your about to be perked up.
Admittedly quite studenty, but that's not really
a bad thing, they're not a bad bunch you know!
From here on, it's your choice, enjoy yourself and
be fruity. |
